The Value of Balance and Strength Training for Midlife Adults

 shutterstock_62580229-1If we take time to participate in an exercise program that includes balance training, mobility and coordination exercises, and strength and flexibility training in our 50’s and 60’s, we have the great possibility of reversing age-related declines before they cause problems, thus improving the quality of our later senior years. At this active stage of life, we have motivation and energy to take this pro-active stand for our health and well-being. We find the exercises pleasantly challenging and we can often solve underlying issues affecting our balance and mobility at their early stages when they are most easily corrected.
